Testing and Analysis
MST has the expertise to test chemical, physical and mechanical properties. Testing then provides insight into the fundamentals of why materials behave differently and how these differences can be exploited to develop new applications.
MST operates a separate testing division. This testing division reports results without bias. Chemical Engineering
The three elements of synthesis, testing and structure-property predictions in phosphazene chemistry form the foundation of MST. The second tier of the pyramid represents MST expertise in Engineering and Scale-up. MST is the largest producer of polyphosphazene materials for commercial applications.
At MST, Chemical Engineers work side-by-side with Chemists to develop new molecules. Our engineering staff also understands how to manipulate material attributes for predictable final properties. They utilize their fundamental understanding of unit operations and engineering principles to scale-up complex molecular structures to commercial scale. MST operates a complete pilot facility and market development unit (MDU) for producing commercial quantities of up to 35,000 lbs per year of polyphosphazene materials.
