Houston, TX - Materials Science Technology Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Leaver and Al Temple as Operations Manager and Vice President Sales and Marketing effective immediately. MST manufactures advanced materials based on phosphazene chemical platform, which operates at the interface of organic and inorganic chemistries. The major applications for phosphazene is in high performance PNF™ based elastomers, dental applications, emerging biomedical applications, and other emerging technologies.

Jon Leaver is responsible for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Safety, Environmental and Plant Assets.  Mr. Leaver has over 30 years experience with Fortune 500 companies in Supply Chain and Manufacturing with international accomplishments in the Americas, China, Middle East, and Europe.  Mr. Leaver has delivered over $100 million dollars in value using “Lean Manufacturing” and “Six-Sigma” solutions.    He holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, a Masters in Operations Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is Six Sigma certified. 

Al Temple is responsible for global sales, marketing, product management and other commercial aspects within MST.  Mr. Temple has a demonstrated record of successes in international business development and marketing, with a history of applying innovative business processes to solve problems while enhancing the bottom line.  He has over 40 years experience with Fortune 500 companies and was responsible for global business and product management for plastics and polymers with Borg-Warner Chemicals, GE Plastics and British Petroleum.  Mr. Temple holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Purdue University, a MBA from Case Western Reserve.
