Houston, TX - Materials Science Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Advanced Polymer Technologies of Tyler, TX. MST manufactures advanced materials based upon a polyphosphazene chemical platform which operates at the interface of organic and inorganic chemistries. The major applications for polyphosphazene technology include: high performance PNF™ based elastomers; dental applications; emerging biomedical applications; and other emerging technologies.

Advanced Polymer Technologies operates a compounding and end-use testing laboratory for high performance elastomeric applications in the oil and gas industry. The laboratory will be transferred to MST’s main facility in Conroe, TX. This joining of forces and move will enhance APT’s testing capacity and place it closer to the heart of the oil and gas industry in the Houston area.
